Date Night Tips: Lifestyle of the Married and Maternal

Keeping date night Spicy…

In all relationships, no matter the maturity, it can be quite challenging to find adequate time to just be alone with your significant other. Things are no different for my husband and myself. We have been married for 3 years now and have been blessed with a 2-year-old. Dedicating and spending quality time is pertinent. And, it can also be quite difficult to say the least. One thing that doesn’t have to be difficult…. That perfect date night outfit. I’ve also taken the liberty to provide you guys with the perfect date night suggestions.

Let’s face it, after you’ve found and begged that reliable babysitter to care of the kiddos, you’ve exhausted all energy to ensure that you have everything ready for that big night, the last thing you want to do is get frustrated by not having anything to wear.

The Look – Date Night

All bets this season are on black leather (hold the leather) pants from Express. They are as easy and comfortable as leggings, yet a classic touch to spruce any outfit. You can pair these with an over-sized sweater, a tunic, a turtleneck, or even a classic tee. I chose to wear them with this oatmeal sweater that has a sexy twisted cut-out back. To complete the look I paired them with some really comfy black suede pumps.  What better way to step out with Bae.

The Date

  1. The classic “Dinner and a Movie” Date
    • Going out- Try finding a dine in movie theater like AMC that has paired reclining chairs. It’s a nice way to cuddle up with bae food, adult beverages, and a good flick.
    • Staying In- Don’t wanna go out in public? UberEats from your favorite restaurant, put on your date night outfit and have a nice dinner on your patio. Netflix and Chill. Done.
  2. Couples Massage
    • Going out- There are lots of great massage spots in Atlanta. One of my absolute favorites is “Treat Your Feet”. The romantic atmosphere is definitely a mood setter. You get to share a room with your mate and select a hand massage or foot massage at the end of your full body massage. It is bomb!
    • Staying in- Have you tried hiring a travel massage therapist? This is a great way to end an adventurous week. Wanna make it even spicier? Why not get a hotel room…drive separate cars and meet each other there. Surprise your mate with a masseuse, champagne, and hor d’oeuvre.
  3. Get physical
    • Going out- Fortunately for us, there are several options here in Atlanta to be active in the Winter; however, one must “To Do” is Snow Mountain. There are lots of activities to enjoy. Whether its sipping hot chocolate, inter-tubing down the slopes, or cuddling besides the fire, its definitely a must do activity.
    • Staying in- One thing that my husband and I love doing inside on a cold winter day is…. exercise. What’s more romantic that getting in shape with the one you love? To spice up a regular exercise, try exercising with a little left to be desired.
