A Jumpsuit for Every Occasion

Spring is finally here! And now that she is, it’s time to shake off the heavy layers of boots, sweaters and coats. Today I’m sharing some easy jumpsuits for spring and summer dressing. Jumpsuits are an easy and simple way to get dressed in one step. Kind of like onesies for grown ups, only better! There are so many fun occasions during the spring season. You have graduations, vacations, Easter, Mother’s Day, weddings, showers and more. No matter what events are on your agenda this year you’ll want to make sure you’re looking your very best. Today I’m going to share with you a couple of my favorite jumpsuits that will be perfect for any of your upcoming events and celebrations.

Classic and Versatile

This first jumpsuit is a versatile piece that’s perfect for just about any occasion. It features a navy background with a white window pane pattern and a v-neck line. This window pane pattern is deceptively flattering. I love how it accentuates the hips and tush.

When styling this piece I opted to keep it simple. I paired this jumpsuit with strappy, high-heeled sandals. I think this look is chic and classic. As a result there really isn’t any place you can’t wear it. This particular look would be great for a date night or a night out on the town with the girls. But, it can also take you to a graduation or a bridal shower.

When and Wear

If you want a fresh look for Easter Sunday, grab this jumpsuit and throw a blazer on top of if for a little more coverage. After service you can remove the blazer for Easter Brunch. Because of the neutral color and classic pattern, this jumpsuit will also work great for the office. Try adding a sleeveless turtleneck underneath, keeping the blazer on top, or even doing both. Switch out the sandals for a pair of fun flats or pumps and you are officially office ready. The possibilities for this piece are endless.

Lady In Red

The next piece is somewhat of a departure for me. It features a wide leg bottom, which is a major trend. The deep cut v-neck and cross back both show a little extra skin, without being overly revealing. I don’t usually wear a lot of color, but this jumpsuit in red just spoke to me so I grabbed it and boy am I glad I did!

I wouldn’t recommend wearing this particular piece to the office, but if you’re looking an outfit for celebrating a special occasion, or if you a have a party to attend this spring or summer, I say grab this jumpsuit! But be warned, you will turn heads!

For this first look I paired the jumpsuit with leopard print stilettos and a black clutch. Just like that, I’m party ready. Nude or black black heels would also be good choices for footwear, but personally I think if you’re going to wear this piece you have to wear a high heel. Because of the bold, solid color this is also a great opportunity to have fun with your accessories. A bright floral print shoe or bag would pair nicely here.

Making It Your Own

Perhaps you love the look of this jumpsuit but want a little more coverage for chilly nights or just for comfort. For the second look I paired this jumpsuit with a brightly colored floral print blazer. This blazer took me well beyond my comfort zone, but I love it! Can you tell I was feeling myself?
