Two Must Have Head to Toe SHEIN Looks
I’m taking a couple of minutes to share with you few pieces I recently picked up and that I am loving! Back this summer I placed a small order with SHEN. I was so impressed with the fit and quality of the pieces for the price that I ended up going back again…and again. I will NOT be sharing with you the number of purchases I have made over the past month. But I do plan on sharing with you my favorite pieces from my hauls(s). Today I’m going to quickly tell you about two (almost) head to toe SHEIN looks. Look 1: Ruffled Hem Sweater Dress & Boots Knitwear…

Unique Holiday Gifts for Ladies & Littles
I wanted to share with you all a list of unique gifts to help you up your gift giving game this year. I started putting together some of my gift picks a while back, but with ALL that is going on in our country and the world, it just didn’t seem right to do. However, the fact is that while it may be scaled down a bit this year, I still have some holiday shopping to do. And I imagine that you do as well. So, in my first ever holiday gift guide I’m sharing with you a few of my most favorite and most gift-able things. Hopefully amongst them…

40 Facts About Me
Today is my 40th birthday, so to celebrate I thought I’d share 40 (mostly random) facts about myself. I’d love to know wa little something about you. So tell me, what do we have in common? I’m a first generation college graduate. (Go VSU!) My entire childhood I wanted to be a teacher. I had 3 majors in college and ultimately ended up with a degree in psychology. For three years I worked in mental health before decided I did in fact want to be a teacher. I’m currently in my 14th year as an educator. I taught 4th grade for 12 years and loved it! Last year I moved…

Red Polka Dot Jumpsuit: Easy One Piece Dressing
It’s Monday, so that means I’ve got a new post for you! I’d be lying if I didn’t tell you that it was a struggle for me to not spend the entire weekend napping. Back to school has been rough on your girl for more reasons than one. But, I managed to put this quick post together for you after seeing that this jumpsuit was back on sale for $16! Yep, you read that right! My affinity for one piece dressing is no secret. Last spring I did a whole post on why I love jumpsuits and rompers. I think these simple outfits are particularly appealing during the warmer months…

Animal Print Outfits for Summer
I often joke that animal print is one of my favorite colors. While animal print isn’t exactly a color, the fact that both of this week’s posts feature animal print is evidence of just how real my obsession is. I don’t discriminate, leopard, cheetah, snake. I’m here for it all! I have done a bit of shopping recently. And I noticed a trend in the items I was purchasing. A lot of it was animal print, so I decided to share a few of my favorite animal print pieces with you! Today, I’m featuring two items I recently purchased from SHEIN. I’m not usually a fan of fast fashion sites…

I’m popping on today to share a quick outfit of the day. This look is a mix of leopard print and hot pink! I really love how it came together! It’s fifty percent “so me” and fifty percent something new. Whether you’re a neutral gal like myself, or you love bright colors, I hope you’ll find a bit of inspiration in today’s look. Leopard Print Blouse If you’ve been around here for a while it’s no secret to you that I love animal print. Leopard and cheetah tend to be my favorites, but I do not discriminate. I love them all. I stumbled across this leopard blouse one day while…

Designer Shoe Wishlist & Affordable Dupes
Where are all my shoe lovers?! This one is for you! Shoes are one of my favorite things. They are a simple way to elevate an outfit and (for the most part) they always fit! I’ve placed very stiff restrictions on my current shoe collection. One pair in, one pair out. With one exception. If the new shoe fills a need that is not met by any of my others, then they all get to stay. However, when I get my custom walk-in closet, all bets are off! As with most things when it comes to shoes I love classic pieces. Shoes that I can own for years and that…

Cushnie for Target Collection
Happy hump day everyone! We’re halfway to the weekend! I’m sure that will hit differently for me next week as I will be returning to work from summer break. This summer has been weird, to say the least. Although I did return to work for a few days at the end of May, we haven’t actually been in school since the middle of March and to tell you the truth everything since that last Friday kind seems like a blur. Y’all send prayers and positive vibes my way. I’m not really sure what the next few weeks will bring, but I expect it to be anything but normal. Anyway, enough…

A Visit to the Anderson’s Sunflower Farm
Just last week I made a visit to the Anderson’s Sunflower Farm. Typically, whenever I have more than a couple of days off of work. I like to spend it traveling. I had big plans for this summer. But as is par for the course this year, things didn’t go as planned. So, I decided to be a tourist at home and find some fun local things to do. I first learned about The Anderson’s Sunflower Farm last summer, but the timing didn’t work out, and I wasn’t able to visit. This year when I saw their Facebook post announcing the beginning of the very brief sunflower season I decided…
